Introducing Palo Alto Chiropractor Dr. Charles Fulanovich

Meet Palo Alto chiropractor Dr. Charles Fulanovich

"Welcome to Palo Alto Chiropractic Offices. My name is Dr. Chuck Fulanovich.  Some of you may already know me. I opened my wellness oriented family practice here in Palo Alto in 1977 along with my wife, Dr. Gloria Seid. Dr. Gloria retired from active practice in 1991 when our son Ben was born.

"Over the years, I’ve taken care of many of your children, family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers. I’ve consulted and treated members of the San Francisco 49ers, San Jose Earthquakes, and U.S. Olympic and Postal Cycling Teams, U.S. and Canadien Olympic Track and Field Teams, and U.S. Olympic Swim, Diving and Weightlifting Teams.

"My practice objectives haven’t changed since day one. I keep up on the latest advancements in conservative chiropractic care and I only accept people into the practice that I honestly believe I can help.

"I make an effort to treat everyone like family and I listen to and respect what you have to say. It’s all about the relationships and partnerships that we forge. Together, we work on your health goals, whether its wellness oriented care or relief from an ache, pain or some symptom you’d rather live without. And, we achieve highly successful outcomes in most cases.

"After all these years, I’m still excited about the health benefits that chiropractic offers to everyone willing to give it a try and I’m convinced that getting to know us might be one of the best health care decisions you’ll ever make for yourself and family.

"I’ve taken hundreds of hours of post graduate education in radiology, spinal biomechanics, nutrition and exercise physiology. I’ve served on the extension faculty of three chiropractic colleges and was elected to the Board of Directors of the International Chiropractors Association of California.

"I grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated from De La Salle High School, attended Chicago State University and completed my undergraduate studies and pre-requisites for chiropractic college there. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa in 1976 and then moved to Palo Alto. Gloria and I were married while students in 1975.

"I’m still a die-hard Cubs and Bears fan and I’ve become a 49ers and Giants fan as well. As a family, we love to travel, camp and play in the outdoors. We have a yellow lab named Maggie who likes to come with us whenever she can, and usually does."

Can those with osteoporosis get chiropractic care?
Of course. When developing a care plan, we consider the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways we can adjust the spine. The chiropractic method we select will be best suited to your age, size and unique situation.
Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Palo Alto parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
